Consulting Room undergoes major overhaul for re-launch
The Consulting Room Group has re-launched www.consultingroom.com, with a complete redesign to make the site fully mobile-responsive and compatible for use on smartphones and tablets, alongside the introduction of a new social-network-based consumer area – The Cosmetic Community.
The re-launch will also differentiate the service offerings provided by Consulting Room to two distinct sectors – the industry and the consumer. The Consulting Room will continue to provide marketing and business support services to clinics and industry suppliers, while “The Cosmetic Guru” will act as an expert guide to helping consumers make educated and informed decisions about cosmetic treatments and providers. This branding distinction includes social media feeds dedicated to consumers for The Cosmetic Guru, alongside the existing, more trade focused Consulting Room feeds.
The new Cosmetic Community is a free-to-register service for the public. It features fun avatar-based personalities and allows the user to customise their own private neighbourhood page so that they can quickly and easily read blogs on treatments that interest them, as well as find offers from clinics in their local area. As they contribute to the site by commenting on a blog or adding reviews for treatments or clinics, which other community members can rate as helpful, they will earn badges which increment their trusted rating within the Cosmetic Community.
