Cosmetic Courses launches OFQUAL-accredited Level 7 Certificate in Injectables for Aesthetic Medicine
Cosmetic Courses have officially launched their much anticipated OFQUAL-accredited Level 7 Qualification which aims to provide medical professionals with the relevant knowledge and practical skills to safely and competently perform Botulinum Toxin and Dermal Filler treatments. This Certificate is an industry-recognised qualification for both new practitioners entering into aesthetics as well as established aesthetic practitioners looking to obtain formal recognition of their skills.
The Cosmetic Courses Level 7 Qualification adheres to the HEE and GMC guidelines relevant to the administration of Botulinum Toxin and Dermal Fillers whilst also offering continued professional development. It was developed using a multi-faceted approach to suit all academic styles with a personal touch involving a combination of online learning, observations, practical hands-on, mentoring and assessments to provide delegates with 277 hours of comprehensive learning.
The qualification is split into 8 mandatory bespoke units covering key topics of Botulinum Toxin and Dermal Filler treatments including: pharmacology, understanding your patients, anatomy and ageing, managing possible complications and effective treatment administration.
The Certificate is led by Clinical Director of Cosmetic Courses and Consultant Plastic Surgeon Mr Adrian Richards alongside his handpicked team of expert aesthetic trainers. Each trainer is an expert in their own discipline with relevant teaching qualifications enabling Cosmetic Courses to offer their delegates the highest quality of medical aesthetic training.
Mr Adrian Richards explains, “The non-surgical cosmetic industry has up until now been highly unregulated. The introduction of a Level 7 Qualification is a necessary movement towards a more standardised level of training for medical professionals. We have invested a lot of time in creating a qualification that our delegates can be proud to achieve, offering a challenging but engaging learning experience. I’m also fully aware of how difficult it can be to study alongside full time work and family life so we decided to offer a bespoke level 7 programme designed to fit in with our delegates’ time schedule and budget.”
Enrolment for the Cosmetic Courses Level 7 Qualification is now officially open. For further information please click here: https://www.cosmeticcourses.co.uk/course/level-7-certificate-injectables-aesthetic-medicine/
