Dalvi Humzah launches train the trainer courses for KOLs and aesthetic trainers
Dalvi Humzah Aesthetic Training Courses has announced the launch of a new course for Key Opinion Leaders and aesthetic trainers. The first “Training Aesthetic Trainers” Course will be held on October 17-18 at the Crowne Plaza Birmingham NEC.
The practical programme will be structured around the needs of the organisation and the individual and address the Train the Trainers requirements for aesthetic trainers. It is ideal for established KOL’s or those aspiring to be KOL’s or trainers.
As part of the programme delegates will spend part of the evening of the first day preparing for the teaching practice on day two. At the end of the programme they will be able to:
- Structure preparation
- Prepare effective visual aids
- Engage quickly and effectively
- Structure practical demonstrations
- Integrate tips and tricks into delivery
- Deal with questions and interaction
- Draft written evidence to support a request for recognition as an aesthetics trainer.
A fully qualified faculty will facilitate this programme and the participants will evaluate the program as well as be assessed in their skills to be a trainer and be given feedback and support in developing the required skills. This is an independent programme and is not sponsored by any organization and has been approved by The Federation of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom for 15 category 1 (external) CPD credit(s).
The provisional faculty includes Mr Dalvi Humzah, Ms Lisa Hadfield-Law, Ms Hayley Allan, Elizabeth Raymond Brown and Anna Baker.
Mr Humzah commented, “Teaching others is an art that comes naturally to few, but is a skill that can easily be learned. Such skills are an important part of work as a KOL as well as those involved in providing training in aesthetics. Whether we like it or not, others often judge our competence, based on our presentation skills. Effective presentation is the ability to communicate a message to an audience in a way that produces a desired change in their understanding or opinion.
“Preparation is the key to success, and a structured approach to preparation is essential. Often the untrained teacher focuses on passing as much information to the audience as possible, with little thought given to the essentials such as what they hope the learners will achieve, what they want participants to do when they leave the event, how can they establish rapport quickly and effectively, or which visual aids work best.”
The cost of the course is £2,000 and includes all course fees, materials and overnight accommodation (on October 17) as well as a full buffet breakfast and three course evening meal and free parking for both days.
