Endymed introduces third-generation Intensif RF micro-needling handpiece

Endymed is the only multi-source phase-controlled radiofrequency technology available, with its patented technology – 3DEEP Skin Science. It’s this technology that allows the application of focused RF energy in different ways, treating the epidermis, the dermis or deep into the hypodermis with precision. 

The different treatments are delivered utilising a range of handpieces, the most recent of which is the third-generation Intensif RF micro-needling. 

The handpiece features a new, more robust, easier to use treatment tip with a penetration depth of up to 5.0mm. Fusing micro-needling with radiofrequency technology, the Intensif handpiece rejuvenates from the inside out, maximising efficacy while minimising downtime. It delivers radiofrequency three layers deep into the skin using 25 gold plated, non-insulated needles and fractionated pulse mode technology, creating fractional columns of coagulation and volumetric heating at a controlled depth of up to 5.0mm. 

The handpiece can be used to treat lax and sagging skin on the face and neck, impaired texture and tone – including open pores, tired and dull skin – crow’s feet, eye hoods and eye bags, acne scars and stretchmarks.

Surgeon and cosmetic doctor Miss Sherina Balaratnam introduced the new handpiece into her award-winning clinic S-Thetics in Beaconsfield in February this year.
