The NHS has announced it will be offering free webinars aimed at supporting the well-being and stress management needs of its staff. Aesthetic practitioners who work in the service can benefit from the resources, including identifying how to manage stress and burnout.

The webinar series is in partnership with The Bravest Path, a leading provider of leadership development and well-being assets. With the ongoing challenges faced by healthcare workers, the company aims to equip NHS workers with practical tools to enhance their mental health.

Specifically tailored to address the unique stressors encountered by NHS professionals, the resources will offer evidence-based strategies and practical advice on how to manage work-related stress, prevent burnout and build resilience.

"We recognise the tremendous dedication and sacrifices made by NHS professionals, especially in these challenging times," said the managing director of The Bravest Path, Bethan Davies. "We have experienced first-hand amazing care from the NHS who supported us when we were at our most fragile. We wanted to offer something back to those who helped us. We work extensively throughout the NHS, running development programmes that help clinicians gain much-needed self-compassion, resilience, and courage skills, resulting in higher engagement, retention, and better patient outcomes."

"A recent survey of clinicians participating in our programmes highlighted how much the fear of being judged by others holds them back," continued Davies. "This led us to develop a free webinar series as an introduction to our full programme, so that more could benefit from these practical tools that can be implemented as quickly as their next shift."

"Through our free webinar series, we aim to provide valuable resources and support to those who have been tirelessly serving our communities. Our goal is to empower them with tools and techniques that will enhance their wellbeing, reduce stress, and promote self-compassion," Davies concluded.

The webinars will be conducted by facilitators who specialise in working with healthcare professionals. Each session will provide a safe and interactive environment for participants to gain insights, share experiences, and learn practical strategies to implement immediately.

The topics covered in the webinar series include:

  • Taking smart risks
  • Overcoming perfectionism and cultivating self-compassion
  • Managing stress and burnout.

The Bravest Path invites all NHS professionals to take advantage of this opportunity for personal and professional growth – including NHS staff that work in the aesthetics industry. Participants will have the chance to engage with experts, ask questions, and connect with a community of like-minded individuals who understand the unique demands of the healthcare industry.

Aesthetic doctors working in the NHS who wish to register for the free webinar series can do so at thebravestpath.com/complimentary-webinars/. Spaces are limited, so early registration is encouraged.
