International Liposculpting Training Academy to host Body Contouring Training Day in London

The International Liposculpting Training Academy (ILTA) will be holding a one-day Body Contouring Training Day in London on Monday February 6, the day after the Aesthetic Medicine Live conference at Olympia.

The ILTA was formed in 2014 by a group of internationally recognised consultant plastic surgeons who specialise in the field of liposuction and have many years of clinical experience, training and teaching behind them.

The purpose of the academy is to bring clarity to new practitioners and to guide them through the process of understanding and selecting appropriate techniques for liposuction through lectures, discussions and live demonstrations. This unique experience will allow practitioners to obtain consistent results from their procedures, and to minimise the risk of possible complications.

The training is aimed at plastic surgeons, cosmetic surgeons and specialists who are interested in liposuction and skin grafting. This is an opportunity to observe senior, experienced liposuction practitioners whilst learning about pre-operative planning and assessment, essential documentation in clinical practice, techniques of liposuction, and post-operative care. This is followed by live open house discussions with the expert surgeons, during which delegates will be invited to bring their own challenging cases to be discussed. Demonstrations of liposuction and fat grafting can be seen in the following youtube links:

The International Liposculpting Training Academy supports the Help Smile Trust, a charity which aims to rehabilitate by provision of reconstructive surgery to children born with facial and hand deformities and victims following burns and trauma . The Help Smile Trust also gives aid to adults in underprivileged areas of the world who have suffered from accidents or burns. The link below provides more information on the Help Smile Trust.
