Introducing AlumierMD EverActive C&E

With more than four years R&D, the latest launch from AlumierMD, EverActive C&E, is at the cutting edge in tackling the oxidation challenges when harnessing antioxidant and peptide power in skincare.

It’s official, vitamins C & E should come first in the A-Z of skincare. The ingredients have had an almighty rise to fame, with dermatologists and Facialist’s declaring their brightening and smoothing benefits unmatched by any other. However, the stability and oxidisation challenges presented when harnessing the skincare super hero at-home has meant the efficacy and long-term usage of the ingredient has been debated.

When exposed to air or light, the vitamin C oxidises, and the serum turns an orange or brownish colour. Vitamin C serums should be clear to straw coloured for optimal effectiveness. Many vitamin C serums oxidise in their bottles, turning a brownish colour while they are on the shelf or at home. When oxidised, the vitamin C is no longer beneficial for the skin. EverActive C&E stays fresh because you only mix the vitamin C into the serum when you’re ready to use it.

The launch of AlumierMD’s EverActive C&E serum marks a milestone, the most optimally active vitamin C and E serum on the market, one that stays fresh from the moment it is opened and remains beneficial to the health of the skin.

EverActive C&E is a high strength vitamin C (15%) and E serum that reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, revitalising skin. Vitamin C, in its only bioactive form L-ascorbic acid, is featured using the highest grade of vitamin C available called USP. The antioxidants, vitamin C and vitamin E, neutralise free radicals and protect against UV damage, while vitamin C and the peptide Matrixyl® syntheƌ® strengthen and brighten skin.

Victoria Hiscock, Product and Education Specialist at AlumierMD, explains “L-Ascorbic acid (LAA) is the only bioavailable form of Vitamin C that’s been proven to stimulate collagen production, and improve collagen quality in the skin. However, it needs to be delivered into the skin at 15% in a base formula with a pH of 3.5 or less. What makes the EverActive C&E so unique is that it delivers fresh and active 15% LAA into the skin along with a peptide for further upregulation of fibroblast activity at a pH of 2.1--2.5, all whilst adhering to our commitment to safe chemistry. This is nothing short of a scientific achievement.”

In addition, AlumierMD has invested heavily into a unique delivery system and product packaging development. This unique system incorporates two chambers in each EverActive C&E bottle; the first containing the active serum; the second containing the vitamin C crystals, which are released into the serum by snapping the air-tight seal. Each pack contains three individual EverActive C&E bottles to be opened one at a time, which AlumierMD found to further the efficacy of vitamin C against oxidisation.

Key Ingredients:

  • L-ascorbic Acid USP: The only bioavailable form of vitamin C for the skin, ascorbic acid is a powerful antioxidant that protects cells from free radical damage caused by the sun and pollution. Vitamin C is essential for collagen synthesis, which helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It also brightens and evens out skin tone.
  • Tocopherol Acetate USP: An effective form of vitamin E for the skin, this highly moisturising and fat-soluble vitamin protects cell membranes and acts as an antioxidant, which strengthens the effect of vitamin C.
  • Matrixyl® synthe’6®: Derived from a peptide naturally found in collagen and laminins, Matrixyl® synthe’6® strengthens skin and improves elasticity, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles

AlumierMD EverActive C&E RRP - £149.00
