Is your aesthetic business covered by insurance during covid-19?

Clinics across the country are facing more distress as insurance providers refuse to pay out amid covid-19 business closures.
Aesthetic Medicine has been made aware of several cases whereby multiple insurance providers are refusing to pay out, stating that business interruption does not include a loss in earnings owning to the current global pandemic.
Despite the fact that policies were written before the discovery of covid-19, but many nonetheless stating coverage for closure due to “a government notifiable disease”, or wording to that effect, clinic owners are still being told that they aren’t covered.
Small and medium-sized businesses in our industry could suffer beyond repair unless insurance companies start paying out.
