mesoestetic Pharma Group has launched acnelan, acne solution by mesoestetic, a topical treatment of acne-prone and seborrhoeic skins.
acne solution by mesoestetic is a multifocal treatment that addresses the different factors that affect acne-prone skins simultaneously. At the heart of acnelan formulation is m.acne complex, a unique combination of active ingredients selected specifically for their complementary properties. These include salicylic acid, mandelic acid, shikimic acid and sodium lepargylate which, in combination with the exclusive bexaretinyl complex, perfectly cleanse and renew acne-prone and seborrhoeic skins.
Given the different aetiology of acne-prone skin as well as its physical and emotional implications, perseverance through treatment is extremely important. Therefore, mesoestetic has developed an innovative method that combines an intensive professional treatment with a comprehensive range of home maintenance products.
The professional intensive treatment consists of three sessions that will be performed at 15 to 21 day intervals, according to the specialist’s recommendation and the skinsensitivity and its capacity to recover the sessions.
The home care line, specifically designed as a convenient and efficient way of maintaining the effects of the professional treatment, includes a daily cleansing foam, a daily cream with an overall multi-focal effect and a purifying, descaling face mask for weekly use. A topical focal product will shortly be added to the range.
Clinical studies carried out between July 2014 and May 2015 on volunteers with acne-prone skin showed the safety and efficacy of the intensive professional treatments used in combination with the home care products.
Dr Manuel Asín, president of one of the cosmetic dermatology centre that participated to the study and member of the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) said, “This new method provided "good" to "excellent” progressive and long lasting results in most of the different types of acne treated”.
