More clinics sign up to Save Face
Clinics in Warwickshire and Kent have become the latest to be accredited by Save Face. Launched in July, Save Face provides a register of accredited practitioners – all of which have been visited and assessed for professionalism, qualifications and safety to give patients peace of mind when booking treatments. The register is only open to registered doctors, dentists and nurses who can demonstrate that they are insured and have received certified training.
Among the first to be added to the register are the Beautifil clinic, in Kenilworth, Warwickshire, Lumley Aesthetics in Sevenoaks and Cindy Knight Clinic in Tonbridge, Hildenborough. Maria Phillips, who runs Beautifil and is a regional leader for the British Association of Cosmetic Nurses, said, “Being accredited by Save Face is a way of distinguishing ourselves as professional, qualified, safe and caring. It helps us to distance ourselves from the cowboys and proves that we are a safe pair of hands if you decide to have a treatment. It gives patients a new-found confidence and assurance of the quality of service they will receive for the very first time.”
Cheralyn Lumley, owner of Lumley Aesthetics, said, “Save Face is creating a benchmark for the industry and helping to improve standards across the board, which is a very positive move forward. Cindy and I know that patients will be looking for this mark of quality in a practitioner and as two of the area’s most experienced and qualified clinicians, we wanted to ensure we achieved the standards as soon as possible. I’m delighted to be one of the first, as I know many more are following.”
Save Face also offers patients independent and unbiased information on non-surgical cosmetic treatments on its website www.saveface.co.uk
