NeoStrata re-formulates Enlighten Illuminating Serum
AestheticSource has added the newly re-formulated NeoStrata Enlighten Illuminating Serum to its offering. The product features an improved formulation to increase effectiveness and potency in addressing pigmentation caused by environmental exposure and natural ageing.
Containing five potent pigment–evening ingredients and brighteners including patented NeoGlucosamine®, B-resorcinol, niancinamide B3, licorice extract, and vitamin C, the serum targets seven key pigment control systems to decrease tyrosinase, protect against inflammatory effects of UV, exfoliate and break up existing pigment spots, reduce melansome transfer to cells, reduce TYRP-1, lighten existing melanin, decrease melanin production.
A study showed a significant improvement in pigmentation at eight weeks and 16 weeks, with some improvement as early as four weeks. After 16 weeks. 87% of subjects showed clinical improvement in mottled pigmentation and 100% showed clinical improvement in clarity and brightness.
