Obagi Medical launches Obagi Prescribing Consultation Service
Obagi Medical has announced the launch of its Obagi Prescribing Consultation Service, designed to free up clinic resources and grow profit at no cost to the clinic.
Obagi Medical has two experienced prescribers, Dr Jo Ward in the North of England and Mary Keltai in Scotland and Northern Ireland, who work with Obagi clinics and their team to consult with Obagi patients directly. The new service is simple to use and allows small independent clinics to at least double their revenue through Obagi, by increasing the amount of patients that the clinic can see overnight, with no additional cost. Additionally, the team provides ongoing training, clinical support and marketing advice.
How the prescribing consultation service works:
1. Register clinic via clinical@healthxchange.com
2. Pick suitable date for Obagi Consult Day and then market and promote this to patients
3. Introduce patients to the Nurse Prescriber for an Obagi consultation
4. Patients receive an Obagi prescription and follow-up plan. Clinics submit the order and plan the follow-up.
Donna Ofsofke,Healthxchange Pharmacy’s clinical educator who leads the team, said, “Obagi has always been at the forefront of delivering outstanding patient results, being recognised in awards for best cosmeceutical for the past 4 years and revered as the gold standard of medical skincare for over 30 years. As a market leader, Obagi is the first skincare/cosmeceutical company to introduce a Prescription Consultation Service, which demonstrates the unsurpassed support Obagi continues to provide for its clients. Now all clients can grow profit without any cost!”
