SMARTDiode lasers evaluated by the physicist Mike Murphy

The SMART Group have partnered with the renowned physicist Mike Murphy to review its range of SMARTDiode lasers.

Murphy is a hugely respected laser protection advisor, and a trusted educator on all things laser and Intense Pulsed Light (IPL). Both The SMART Group and Murphy are also members of the British Medical Laser Association (BMLA).

During his visit to the group’s headquarters in Bracknell, Berkshire, Murphy shared his vast knowledge and theory in all aspects of laser technology with the company’s education, operations, and maintenance.

Following a thorough review of both the SMARTDiode laser technology and the business’ operational processes and procedures, Murphy was left suitably impressed, according to a press release.

“I enjoyed my time with teams at The SMART Group and getting the opportunity to understand and evaluate their equipment both from a technical and operational aspect,” said Murphy. “I was further impressed with the high standards obtained in both the manufacture and technical quality of the equipment and the company’s commitment to supporting their range of lasers. We have a shared passion to increase knowledge and understanding within our industry and I look forward to expanding our relationship in the pursuit of developing our industry’s knowledge, specifically in safe and effective laser operation.”

As a result of the successful visit and evaluation, the leadership team of The SMART Group have pledged that they will continue working closely with Murphy as part of the continuous development of their customer support programmes.

The aim will be to help expand the knowledge base of their growing client base across the UK. This will also include attendance at Murphy’s well-regarded training sessions with access to the technical and theoretical aspects of laser through his manuals.
