Croma Pharma introduces Juvenus, a new polynucleotide-based injectable for skin hydration and tissue elasticity restoration, offering an innovative tridimensional mode of action to help fight the signs of skin ageing.

Thise new injectable has been developed to treat a variety of skin concerns on the face and body including wrinkles, loss of skin firmness, and skin tone and elasticity.

Thanks to its biochemical properties, Juvenus helps restructure and rejuvenate the skin tissueimproves skin elasticity and is effective against various signs of aging. The clear, elastic and injectable gel is based on polymerised polynucleotides (PDRN) and shows several positive effects on the skin. andIt creates an antioxidative effect that can lead to an amplification of protective activities against free radicals while the hydrophilic and polyanionic structure enables PDRN to bind water molecules, resulting in an intensive moisturisation of the tissue along with the creation of an optimal environment for fibroblast growth.

The aim is to hydrate the skin whilst restoring tissue elasticity. The new injectable Juvenus was officially launched at AMWC in Monaco, with Dr Rita Rakus commenting, “It was great to see the upcoming product launches including the exciting new PDRN technology.”

Juvenus is available in two concentrations and is suitable for all skin types and age groupspatients. The 2% polynucleotide variant can be used to treat slightly deeper wrinkles such as superficial perioral wrinkles, cheek wrinkles, décolletage, neck and medium scars,  while Juvenus 2.5% polynucleotide is best for medium-deep wrinkles and larger areas of the body such as the neck, back of the hands, abdomen, cleavage, thighs, and glutes and deep/large scars.
