Aesthetic doctor reveals new weight loss programme

Dr Grace Hula, founder of G&M Healthcare, is an aesthetic doctor and GP with over six years of experience in weight loss management. Dr Hula devised her MediSculpt Therapy programme together with her team, and it is currently benefitting patients with a multitude of health conditions, including type 2 diabetes.

The programme was developed with detailed attention to optimising the body’s chemistry for rapid, effective, and continuous breakdown of stored body fat, whilst preventing suppression of the body's metabolic rate and combining essential elements that work together to deliver safe, effective, and lasting weight loss.

Explaining the programme, Dr Hula said, “MediSculpt Therapy is a very low-calorie diet that is medically supervised by doctors, nurses, and wellness-trained therapists with over nine years of experience. It’s safe, very effective (with patients achieving weight loss of one stone a month on average) and a more holistic approach to weight loss, as we help our patients with lifestyle changes specific to them, rather than a one size fits all approach.”

This includes the integration of aesthetic devices, like body contouring and non-invasive fat reduction devices, to help sculpt the body as the patient loses weight.

Dr Hula believes the MediSculpt Programme holds other advantages in comparison to similar diets. "MediSculpt Therapy food choices are better than those offered on other low-calorie diet programmes," she explains, "Not just soups and drinks... we also provide a wider range to choose from, including solid foods.”

After finishing the programme, Dr Hula offers a weigh-in service and continued supervision for as long as the patient needs, hoping to keep them in a healthy lifestyle and achieve long-term weight maintenance after they reach their goal.

Editor Anna Dobbie is trialling the MediSculpt and will review her treatment in a future issue of Aesthetic Medicine.
