Medical aesthetics device manufacturer Cutera has announced the appointment of Sam Keene as the new regional leader for the UK and Ireland.

Having previously held a senior European marketing position at Cutera and with over 11 years working for device-led aesthetics brands, Keene will now lead the Cutera UK and Ireland team into 2024, in what the company say is ‘the next phase of our Cutera UK and Ireland expansion’.

Keene shared his enthusiasm for the brand, and his hope for the future, ‘I am incredibly passionate about the Cutera brand and how we focus on providing bespoke post-purchase support to every customer who uses our range of world-leading medical aesthetic devices.

‘Having worked very closely with the UK team over the past four years of their exponential growth and success, I feel my background in marketing and dedication to optimising the customer journey will help ensure we implement the right programmes to further support our fast-growing network of clinics across the UK and Ireland. ‘

Fred Joris, EU general manager at Cutera commented, ‘2024 is a monumental year for the Cutera business, which is committed to introducing new novel technology to our customers. Alongside the change at a corporate level with the appointment of a new chief executive, Taylor Harris, we also needed a new profile for the UK and Irish business. Sam is someone who understands the intricacies of our business and the wider market, has a strong relationship with our KOL faculty and customer base, and has a proven track record of successfully launching new technologies to market
