Dr Catharine Denning launches Oxygenetix blemish-control moisturiser

The new Oxygenating Blemish-Control Hydro-Matrix has been designed to offer maximum strength, timed-released salicylic acid to ensure even problematic skin can benefit from the hydrating, oxygenating properties to aid oxygen uptake to heal blemishes and treat active comedones alike. Other key ingredients include Aloe Vera gel to reduce inflammation, Ceravitae® complex to accelerate tissue growth and a sodium PCA and Hyaluronic acid duo to replenish moisture loss and aid hydration.

Oxygenetix is the only foundation that I recommend to patients – especially those with sensitive or blemish-prone skin,” said advanced aesthetics doctor Dr Catharine Denning at the launch event. “Originally developed to heal and conceal skin after cosmetic procedures such as laser and peels, the Oxygenetix product portfolio not only helps promote the skin’s healing process but also boasts foundations perfect for everyday wear.

“I’m cautious about what products I recommend in acne-prone skin,” added Denning. “Acne patients tend to try and cover up redness and blemishes with heavier, oil-based make-up which couldn't be worse for their skin. The formulation of the new Blemish-Control Hydro-Matrix comprises a very powerful blend. The oil-fee composition with the salicylic acid is an effective combination for blemish-prone skin while the Ceravitae® complex accelerates tissue growth and provides rapid wound recovery – this compliments the action of in-clinic treatments. I can recommend this moisturiser to a broad range of my patients because it is hypoallergenic and compatible with sensitive skin.”
