Jon Mowat to host workshop about video content for medical device and healthcare brands

Creating engaging content is becoming a crucial aspect of marketing for medical device, pharma and healthcare brands, and is one of the main ways that companies communicate with the public and their patients.

However, creating video content effectively can be complex and sometimes expensive, leaving companies unsure about how to utilise it.

Marketing expert Jon Mowat is hosting a free workshop on Wednesday, June 29 titled ‘Effective Medical Communications in a Video-First World’, to help inform medical and healthcare marketers about how to deliver results with video.

Mowat will discuss inspiring ideas from leading medical brands, with a focus on insightful theory and actionable tips. He will look at the theory of video marketing, including the psychology of effective content as well as looking at specific social channels and how to use video successfully on them such as YouTube, Tik Tok, Instagram and Facebook.

The workshop will also cover how to run organic and effective paid campaigns and how medical and pharma brands can use Content Hubs to build an audience and drive action. Mowat will also showcase new technologies such as interactive and personalised videos.

With over 20 years of experience in video, Mowat is also the author of two books on video marketing and is the managing director of video marketing agency Hurricane. He also regularly creates content for respected brands such as Novartis, Sanofi, P&G, Tillotts, OSS Dsign and frequently works with Pfizer teams across Europe.

Taking place at the Crown Plaza Geneva in Switzerland, the workshop be held from 13:30-16:00 on Wednesday, June 29, and whilst tickets are free, spaces are limited.
