New clinicians asked to submit abstracts for Merz Innovation Forum

Medical aesthetics company Merz Aesthetics is calling for abstracts as part of its first Innovation Forum.

Merz is welcoming “creative and inventive” medical aesthetics abstract submissions from “the next generation” of healthcare professionals and researchers for the Merz Aesthetics Expert Summit (MEXS) 2021.

Clinicians and researchers in practice for less than five years are invited to submit their abstracts. This can be novel research and findings from medical aesthetics work, whether pre-clinical or clinical, innovations in the field of anatomy or novel observations from daily clinical practice.

Abstracts can be submitted here until 31 January 2021. Five finalists will be announced in February and invited to join MEXS, set to take place in Vienna in autumn 2021. The winner will have the opportunity to present their work on the main stage.

“Merz Aesthetics is thrilled to offer the next generation of talented researchers and clinicians in the space a new and exciting opportunity to showcase their work in medical aesthetics through the Innovation Forum,” said Dr Terri Phillips, chief medical affairs officer, Merz Aesthetics. “Our ultimate goal is to spark creativity, encourage unique thinking and drive innovation in medical aesthetics.”

Submissions will be evaluated by Merz’s Scientific Committee of seven world-renowned clinicians from around the world. They will judge the abstracts’ level of innovation, practical relevance, potential and applicability.

In October, Merz celebrated the shipment of the 10 millionth syringe of its Radiesse dermal filler.
