New indications and technology to drive global injectables market growth

The global facial injectables market is forecast to grow at a CAGR of 10.8% by 2025.

Market researcher ResearchAndMarkets.com cited the anticipated launch of new products in the coming years as one of the key factors predicted to drive the growth.

An increase in beauty consciousness and growing awareness of injectables and what they can treat will also contribute to the market’s development.

Innovation in technology, techniques and procedures will fuel the market, with suppliers set to focus more on evidence-based clinical trials to support R&D to survive in the increasingly competitive marketplace, especially given the rumoured imminent launch into key global markets of a new breed of toxins from Asia, renowned for fast technological progress.

Price is set to become a major source for competition, with more suppliers specialising in certain products to gain an edge, such as manufacturers that focus solely on HA skin boosters, for example.

North America accounted for the largest share of the global facial injectables market in 2018, followed by Europe; specifically, Germany, France, the UK and Italy.

However, during the forecast period to 2025, the markets in Brazil, China, Russia and India are expected to grow at a rapid pace due to a high adoption rate of cosmetic procedures and the growing number of aesthetic clinics opening in these countries.
