She also regularly debunks myths relating to Black skin and hair. Dr Belmo is passionate about diversifying dermatology.
Dr Belmo wrote the first dermatology skin of colour syllabus for the UK dermatology training curriculum. This means it is now a national requirement for UK dermatology trainees to have experience in ethnic skin and hair.
