AlumierMD relaunches entrepreneurial course for skincare practitioners

Medical-grade skincare brand AlumierMD has relaunched its entrepreneurial business course, ‘The Growth Factor’.

Now with additional support and new modules, the programme is designed to help support skincare practitioners grow their businesses. It does so by connecting them with their ideal clients, while guiding them to maximise themselves and the success of their businesses.

AlumierMD will continue to partner with the business development company Aesthetic Entrepreneurs to bring the seven-part course to customers. Courses will be taking place in London, Manchester and Dublin.

The Growth Factor programme lasts seven weeks and it has been updated to include new modules, which deliver a renewed focus on strategy. There is also a check-in date after twelve weeks to help evaluate the attendees’ progress.

The full schedule is as follows:

  • Week 1 - Live Launch Week in Shoreditch (London), Manchester and Dublin
  • Week 2 - Entrepreneurial Thinking
  • Week 3 - Diversified Business Model
  • Week 4 - Differentiation Through Storytelling
  • Week 5 - Commercial Strategy & Pricing
  • Week 6 - Product Launch Week
  • Week 7 - Implementation Week
  • Week 12 - Growth Factor Revisited

The programme aims to help practitioners diversify their business model and maximise new product launches with patients. This in turn can provide a structure for success, designed to widen the practitioner’s skillset in entrepreneurial thinking.

The best-selling author and aesthetic coach Richard Crawford-Small will be on hand to guide skincare providers through the process: “I will support you to build your business, and change lives”, said Crawford-Small. “We have a unique and proven model that will help you discover the entrepreneur within. The result: more success, more money, and a beautiful business.”

The revamped course comes after AlumierMD’s Business Platform was commended by the 2021 Aesthetic Awards within the ‘Professional Initiative of the Year’ category. Recent research by AlumierMD also suggested the need for such tailored business support within the industry.

In a survey of this year’s cohort, 88% of the business owners did not have a business plan, while a further 70% felt they were not getting the business results they deserve. Moreover, 55% of those surveyed didn’t feel they had a clear USP; 74% didn’t have a designed client journey; 65% didn’t have a cross-sell strategy; and 81% thought they communicated inconsistently.

“Our continued commitment to protecting and growing the skincare revenues of aesthetic practices sits firmly at the centre of every action that we take as a business,” commented AlumierMD’s chief executive, Daniel Hopkins. “I am both very proud and excited to lead an incredible group of innovators to empower our sector, creating exceptional patient outcomes at every step of the journey,”
