Updated on 27th Jan 2026

Mbody Media, the team behind Menopause in Practice and Pause Live, has launched Future Patient, a new digital magazine dedicated to the future of healthcare through the lens of functional, preventative, and personalised medicine.

Edited by health journalist and founding editor of Aesthetic Medicine Magazine, Vicky Eldrige, with an editorial board led by women’s health expert Dr Mayoni Gooneratne.

The quarterly publication is dedicated to providing healthcare and wellness professionals with insight into evidence-led information, bridging the gap between healthcare and wellness professionals and patients with evidence-based information and product reviews.

The first issue, now available, spotlights gut health as a foundation for overall wellness and healthy aging.  Exploring  the latest microbiome research and practical, personalised strategies to improve digestion, immunity, mental health, and sleep for better patient outcomes.

“We believe the future of healthcare lies in prevention and personalisation, not reactive treatment. This is an innovative and emerging area of healthcare, and we want to be at the forefront, relaying the latest evidence and research as this field grows,” shares publisher Charlotte Body.

“Our mission is to empower professionals with the tools, knowledge, and community they need to deliver the highest standard of care.”

Alongside the magazine, the Future Patient platform serves the professional community through expert analysis, clinical education, and reporting across functional medicine, longevity, and preventative healthcare.

Press and industry professionals can join the Future Patient Congress 2026 on February 5, 2026, at the Grand Connaught Rooms, London. The congress will bring together leading voices in functional medicine, diagnostics, gut health, hormones, nutrition, longevity science, and whole-body health.
